Adrian Jones is a Nurse Consultant working in Assertive Outreach Team in Wrexham. He is also a Visiting Reader at Glyndŵr University, Wrexham.

His academic interests include new ways of working such as nurse prescribing, MDT working and the newly established role of responsible clinician. In 2010 Adrian became the first nurse in Wales to qualify as an Approved Clinician under the Mental Health Act (2009).

Adrian has published 50 articles on a wide range of topics including nursing theory, care pathways, nurse prescribing and psychiatric medication. He has also published a book on nurse prescribing in mental health.
