School of Art & Design research

Glyndŵr University’s art and design lecturers are practising artists themselves.

This means that they often hold their own national and international exhibitions and work in partnership with many art organisations, galleries and creative companies to deliver papers and work on creative projects.

The Artist Teacher Scheme (a scheme co-funded by Glyndŵr University, the Arts Council of Wales & NSEAD) was started in Wales in 2004. 

This project helped to inform the development of the Master’s curriculum in Art & Design at Glyndŵr University.
