Contracts and collaborations

Confidential collaboration and contracts can be undertaken for companies and research organisations on a collaborative basis, when there is mutual academic interest or as a fully paid or subsidised contract in the following areas:

Polysaccharide characterisation and analysis
Comprehensive rheological studies of hydrocolloids systems
Food emulsions: droplet size measurements, pressure effects, stabilities, choice of formulations etc
Quality systems, molecular weight measurements, in commercial hydrocolloids using GPC-MALLS and FFF-MALLS
Modification of hydrocolloids to achieve greater functionality
Human and animal trials of the metabolic action of potential health supporting natural products, with emphasis on dietary fibres
Exploration of new opportunities for established food hydrocolloids.
