Structure of the Children and Young People’s University Cymru
There are three age levels, all under the Children and Young People’s University Cymru 'Umbrella'.
For ages 5-8 years
For ages 9-13
For ages 14-19
These students are rewarded with 'credits' for their commitment.
Credits will be cumulative within each sector of the Children's University system. The following accumulation values will be equated to the award of:
Kids' College
Bronze: 50
Silver: 75
Gold: 100
Children's University
Bronze: 100
Silver: 200
Gold: 400
Youth University
Bronze: 150
Silver: 350
Gold: 600
Remember: unlike formal qualifications, students are credited per hour of participation, NOT for pre-set standards.
Credits accumulate to Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards, celebrated at each stage.
