Background

Sahar N. Hamid completed her B.S. in Psychology at Roanoke College, Virginia, USA, with a concentration in Biology. She completed her Masters and PhD in Cognition and Perception at the University of Texas at Austin in 2008. In 2010 Sahar started teaching Psychology at Glyndwr University. Before that she taught in Universities in Pakistan and the United States of America.

Sahar Nadeem Hamid is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA)

Research Interests

Sahar’s primary research interests are in cognition and perception. She is interested in exploring how people decide what information needs to be encoded while navigating.
Sahar is also interested in multi-cultural research on religious attitudes and its effect on psychological well-being.
